New Year's Eve Gala, December 2008

Inspired by the lines of a pinstripe suit and the sparkle of a crystal chandelier, this year's New Year's Eve gala at the prestigious Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, VA was a crowd pleaser.  Entertainment was provided by Upper East Side featuring Adrian Duke and Charles Darden.  Guests enjoyed a "Rat Pack" throwback cocktail party and an elegant dinner-dance in the spacious Grand Ballroom.  

Happy New Year!  (from left)  The Grand Ballroom Foyer was transformed with custom-made fabric chandelier covers; Uplit martini glasses topped the highboy tables; The Main Dining Room was set with classic elegance; A Happy New Year gobo lit the wall over the dance floor; Sleek banquettes were accented with cylinder glassware and floating candles; The Grand Ballroom featured a black and red look; A crystal stage curtain sparkled; Silver and black balloons were ready to drop at the stroke of midnight; Centerpieces alternated with lighted lamps and red roses in black mirror chip vases; Red and white fabric panels were accented with gobo patterns and flanked by crystal beaded columns; pinstripe linen and satin chair covers created subtle elegance.
