La Isla de Muerta, April 2008 - EVIE Award Nominee for Best Event Design/Decor

La Isla de Muerta  (from left)  A skeleton pirate prop welcomes guests to the Isla de Muerta; Centerpieces featured cubes with glowing purple gel and bones; Mini skulls and shrunken heads were hung in lanterns and placed around the room; A skull & crossbones gobo light pattern guarded the buffet station; The darker side of pirate life was showcased with skeletons and urns full of bones and snakes; A fortune teller and tarot card reader provided interactive entertainment; One-Eyed-Willie was available for photo ops; A tower of skulls and glowing red water topped the buffet station.
