Decorating for a Cause, October 2007

Guys With Ties hosted Monster Mash at Cans Bar & Canteen in Uptown Charlotte on October 27, 2007.  All proceeds from the event went to support Room at the Inn, a maternity and after-care program for women in the Charlotte area.  The event was a great success drawing over 2,000 people for a great Halloween bash and raising $10,000 for Room at the Inn.

Happy Halloween  (from left)  Ghoulish art prints of American Gothic and the Mona Lisa were draped with webs; Bats and webs hung overhead; Wrought-iron pieces were decked with severed heads and spandex structures we uplit with orange lighting; The restroom entrance was festive with a spooky iron archway; Glass cubes were filled with floral gel suspending eye balls, snakes, and candles inside; Mummies and tattered cloth hung from the existing banisters; Stephanie carved a pumpkin with the Guys with Ties logo for the registration desk; A custom Guys with Ties gobo light pattern shined above guests heads.
