Party Hardy at the 2008 EVIE Awards, April 2008

At the 2008 Events in Excellence (EVIE) Awards held at Founders Hall in the Bank of America Corporate Center, Stephanie Drew's best 2007 events were recognized with nominations in 5 categories:  Best Corporate Event, Best Event Decor, Best Floral Design, Best Tabletop Design, and Best Themed Event.  She was elated to take home the top prize in the Best Corporate Event, Best Floral Design, and Best Event Decor categories.  

The 2008 event featured an 80s theme (thus the stellar duds) and was emceed by "Boy George."  After the cocktail hour and silent auction, guests gathered around neon-spandex covered tables for the awards ceremony which began with a dance montage of 80s videos and ended with breakdancers.  Patricia Moser was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award for her 44 years of service in the special events industry.  Hot Sauce (looking a lot like the Beastie Boys) played retro tunes 'til security pulled the plug.
